Chuck Pelly

Chuck Pelly在工业设计领域已经工作40年有余。
身为Designworks/USA前任主席的他创办了这个世界上最好的工业设计办公室(后来也成为了BMW在美国的设计工作室)。
Designworks/USA作为十大设计咨询公司之一,曾获得大量世界级创意产品和汽车设计的奖项,并指导了BMW X5和Z4系列的设计。
带领设计的BMW 3系更是获得了大奖。
除此,Chuck也与Joan Grogor一起共同创办了Design Academy公司,致力于将设计和创意运用到公司、教育机构以及团体中。
他参与指导设计的团体包括:Nokia Design,Magna International, LA Auto Show, BMW Group, Lotosland Design Workshop, Lightolier, New Zealand Trade等。

Awards
Chuck has been awarded more than 40 U.S. and foreign patents, has received numerous awards for his work, has taught and lectured broadly, served on many boards, has been President of the Industrial Design Society of America, and an IDSA Fellow since 1994. Chuck has also been involved with the Art Center College of Design since 1968 and has received their George Jergenson Design Achievement award for his significant contribution.
In his distinctive career, Chuck has received over 50 awards of distinction, including the Eyes on Design Lifetime Achievement Award for car design, and has been nominated four times for the Lifetime Achievement Award and for the Design Mind Award for excellence, innovation and enhancement of the quality of life by the Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum.
